20-Nov-2002 Jerry Stenquist has left Hourglass to serve a 2-year LDS mission. Jon Berrett has also chosen to leave the band and will soon be leaving to serve a mission as well.

14-Aug-2002 Hourglass was recently featured on the "Channel Homegrown" program on 105.7 in Salt Lake City. If you are in the Utah area, call 470-1057 or 570-1057 to request that the station play Hourglass on future "Channel Homegrown" broadcasts, happening every Sunday night from 10:00pm-midnight.
14-Aug-2002 "The Journey Into" is now sold at Media Play in Orem, and Summerhay's Music in Sandy.

16-Jul-2002 Hourglass has been invited to play again on July 24th for Salt Lake's Pioneer Day celebration. Last year's show was a big success, so be sure to check out Hourglass this year.
2-Jun-2002 The summer should be full of Hourglass shows. Details of dates and times will be posted as soon as we have them.
3-May-2002 The new studio album is complete, and will be available beginning May 18th. Be the first to get it by coming to the CD Release Concert, and check here for clips in the next few days.
17-Mar-2002 Hourglass enters Fast Forward Recording Studios April 13 to record their second album. Look for a mid-May release of "The Journey Into."
12-Feb-2002 Chad Neth is the new lead vocalist for Hourglass. He has the right mix of skill and chemistry for a progressive rock band like this, so watch for the new CD, tentatively titled "The Journey Into." The band members should be hitting the studio in early April with a probable May release. Get your ears ready.
15-Jan-2002 Eric Blood is no longer a member of Hourglass because of a violation of band policies. A new lead vocalist is currently being sought. This could not have happened at a worse time because the band is otherwise ready for the studio. All music and lyrics are written and polished to near perfection. Check back for information on a new lead singer.
